The Rink Build

Industry experts from around the world, who specialize in building professional ice hockey rinks, bring their experience together, and in only four days assemble and dismantle an NHL grade ice surface that meets the standard for professional ice hockey. A team of only

20 crew members transforms the facility into an NHL style ice arena, with 150,000 gallons of water, four containers of boards, refrigeration and state of the art sound and light.

Kerry Goulet


Former star European hockey player, coach and general manager, Kerry now focuses all of his efforts into generating awareness of concussions and neurotrauma. Kerry suffered two documented concussions and knows first-hand the effects of post-concussion syndrome. His expertise helps him function as an educational speaker, as he spends countless hours speaking on behalf of preventing concussions.

Jeff Amaral

Paramount Ice

Jeff is an ice arena professional with extensive experience managing, operating, developing, and engineering ice rinks. Involved in the operations of arenas across the GTA for over 15 years, and is actively pursued to consult on new developments, and the restructuring and retrofitting of existing arenas.

Paul Kempffer

Independent Ice Consultant

Paul has over 30 years experience in ice hockey facility management and operations. He has worked at all levels of hockey operations to include community, OHL, AHL, NHL and international. Additionally Paul has extensive credentials in industrial refrigeration and application. 

Jonathan Cornford

AIS Co-Founder

Jonathan is a successful business owner/director of Central Communions and Electrical which has been running for 20 years in Australia. His hockey started at a young age and from there went on to play and coaching Ice Hockey for over 30 years.  In the pasted 11 years he has taking teams on the road, both within  Australia  and overseas and hold’s a level 2 Coaching certificate.

Debbie Cornford

AIS Team Member

Debbie founded One Step Ahead Dance Studio, which is a successful dance studio in Narre Warren, Victoria, Australia. Debbie has taken her love of dance overseas to perform with London Ballet Theatre, Vienna Ballet Theatre,Victorian State Open and the Australian Opera. Debbie still runs her dance studio but is also very heavily involved with the Ice Hockey as she supports Jonathan with the passion to build the sport.
